Question: Bluetooth turns on automatically on restart or at 5am

Wake up and smell the coffee. Having turned off Bluetooth in iOS 11.x using the Control Center and then having it turn on automatically at 5am or when I turn back on my iPhone or iPad is not a feature.

Yes Bluetooth is useful for the perhaps every other month when I share family photos with family members, but otherwise Bluetooth wastes my battery and opens me up to security risks when I commute on the bus. As the human who is supposed to be in control of the Apple, device, not the other way around, when I turn off Bluetooth in the Control Center it should stay off.

How many other iOS 11 users think this is a bug?

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 11.1, Plus iPhone

Hi. See this link: Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center with iOS 11 - Apple Support for Apple's explanation.

If you seldom use Bluetooth, you can turn it off in Settings until you need it. You can still use Control Center to turn it on. Let Apple know you are concerned by posting at this link: Feedback - iPad - Apple.
