Can you help me how I can merge a call from iPhone 7 Plus?

Even I download the latest version which is the version 11.1.1 I still cannot merge a call.please APPLE help me with my problems.

  1. While on a call, tap add call. To dial a contact, select a contact from the Contacts tab. To dial a number, dial a number from the keypad tab then tap Call or tap the Call icon .
  2. Tap merge calls.
