2018 Honda Accord+iPhone 7plus+ iOS 11.1.1

I can’t not get apple CarPlay to work. I was at work and got it set up, went in. When I got off I plugged my phone in and it would not set up. Nothing came up which was weird. I drove home and thought it was because I didn’t use the original cable, so I plugged the original in. And get unsupported device. And can’t get CarPlay to work. Does anyone have any idea?
