I understand from your post that when trying to update your apps you are prompted to enter a password for the wrong Apple ID. This usually occurs when an app has been downloaded using another Apple ID. To prevent this from happening in the future, delete the app and then download it again. If it is an app you paid for you will have to purchase it again under your current Apple ID.
