Notes I attach to pdf and Power Point files go missing when I send them. How do I correct?

Using MacSierra. Notes in presentations I send get dropped when I send them in pdf or PP formats. Never use to happen until presentations automatically get sent theough Mail Drop. Can I avoid sending in Mail Drop?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I would first try compressing the files and test to see if your 'notes' are 'dropped' if the files are transferred as .zip files.


Rather than taking advantage of Mail Drop when your attachments are large you might try uploading the files to another 'cloud service' and advise the people you want to be able to use them of their location via email.


You should test to see if the 'notes' to which you refer are also 'dropped' when sent to other cloud services first.
