Question: I can no longer stream music to my iPod touch

I have an iPod Touch which I have had for years. I have always been able to stream my purchased music through wifi and I could view my music either through artists, songs or genres. No problem.

I recently updated my Touch to 9.3.5 - that is as high as I could get - and now my 12,000 songs have been reduced to 10,000. I can no longer stream purchases and I have no song listing choice. I want to be able to shuffle songs, but there is no song listing. Only artists show up and none of my purchases that I haven't downloaded are showing up. I don't want to use Apple Music. I want my music. I feel like Apple is trying to take control and make me pay for something I shouldn't have to use. I want to go back to 2 weeks ago.

Very frustrating.
