Question: Sierra 10.13.1 move my files to iCloud again?

The last time I tried to update Sierra, my Documents folder migrated from my hard drive to iCloud. I don't want this. Is there a way to update to the latest version of Sierra and leave my Documents folder where it is?

Answer:

Your Documents Folder will only upload to iCloud, if you enable the System Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Drive : Options : Desktop and Documents. As long as you keep this disabled, your Desktop and Documents will stay local on your Mac.
