Question: Can you run Compressor4 in AWS or Google Cloud?

Greetings,

Is it possible to run Compressor4 in AWS or Google Cloud?

If so, could you please point me to resources on how to do so?

Thanks much.

Not exactly sure what you're trying to do. Don't know what "AWS" is. Compressor runs on your Mac, you give it a file, set a transcode job, run it. There's nothing to run "in" anything. Do you mean output to Google Cloud like it does to Facebook or Vimeo? No, not yet.

Hello Ben,

Thank you for your reply. AWS stands for "Amazon Web Services".

AWS provides computation facilities, and from my understanding, it is a cost effective way to do Compute Intensive jobs (typically rendering and such like). Google Cloud would be another example.

I was wondering whether Apple's Compressor could be installed and run on either one of them...

Thanks again,

Rajnesh
