Photos 2, two unrelated questions

Thanks to the help and patience of several good people here, I have now successfully migrated everything from Aperture 3.6; and - I have to say - am loving Photos.

is there a way to invert the current selection of images? I aways start by adding keywords for orientation - landscape vs portrait; when I've done one selection (e.g. portrait), it would be useful to deselect these, and then select the remainders, all members of which would all always automatically be landscape; that was possible in Aperture
Anyone know of site(s) which will recognize the location of images by their place… I have several dozen architectural digitized slides in my library which aren't geotagged?

I don't believe one can so what you want. However, If you're looking to get all portraits assembled in one album and landscape in another you might consider this AppleScript: Script: Sort Landscape-Portrait-Square Photos from this section of user tips: Thematic Index to Photos for Mac Related User Tips.

You can then select all of the photos in each of the albums, landscape, portrait, square, and add the appropriate keyword to them.

I have read a little about Google's PlaNET initiative, which perhaps promises to provide place recognition.

Anyone know of anything available now, please?
