Any way to restore iPhone6 data without recent backup?

Due to a sequence of unfortunate events, my iPhone6 got remote erased completely. My last backup is not very recent. Is there any way to restore data on the device itself (without taking it from iCloud or iTunes backup)?

TIA

iPhone 6, iOS 11.1

Once the phone is wiped, that is exactly what happened. Everything on the phone is erased, and there is no way to recover it. Without a recent backup, you have two choices. Set the device up as new, and create your content again, or restore to your latest backup. Many things are not in the backup anyway, so they should not be lost. Calendar and Contacts should be managed by some other means, such as iCloud, another cloud or email service, or a program on the computer. Your music is in your iTunes library, etc.
