apple tv 4 won’t start songs

I’ve been trying to start songs from my iTunes library on my Apple TV and the music simply never starts.

I can add a song to my queue and it will appear as “now playing“ but the scrubber doesn’t move and the time stays on 0:00. I’ve tried scrubbing, restarting, unplugging, quitting, re-syncing the library...

It used to work fine. Everything else works great. I’m out of ideas.
