Issues with Accessing Internet on iPhone6

My wife has an iPhone 6 and many times cannot access the internet. It does not matter if it is WiFi or our carrier. She has to repeat it several times and then gets through. Problem has been happening for several months now. The phone delays when trying to go to the internet, then after several tries, she finally connects. Can anyone pleas help us with the problem please? Thank You
