Hi, I received an email confirmation #19982 Receipt subscription renewal. of $70.00 for Sound Cloud which I did not order

Too whom it may concern . I am C Janet G. .I just opened my email to discover an email from iTunes billing me for Sound Cloud 'Music and Audio. I did not order this item. It states confirmation #19**2 Receipt subscription renewal.$70.99. Invoice # 33802***17. Billing ID,:8294-1546-****. The date is 11/11/2017 @ 4.36pm and it states I have 24 hours to cancel the order and cancellation will not be accepted after the specified time limit. I need this order cancelled because I did not do this transaction.. Thank you. My email address is cynrox@***. I have not opened the attachment.

I'm guessing that email to be a phishing attempt. You have received it in an attempt to gain information about your account. Use the information in this support document to help identify phishing and fraudulent messages. Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support


Log into your account via iTunes and see if there is an actual purchase there. Also, you can check your billing method/credit card account and see if an actual charge was made. If none was made, then forward the email to Apple as an attachment to reportphishing@apple.com and then delete it. Ignore it too. Apple does not send out information in that fashion.


Posting your email and name in an international public forum is also a way to get your information plucked up and used to send this type of spam email. I've asked the hosts to edit that out.
