I have an apple pay notification stuck on my home screen. It is keeping me from logging in to my phone or even turning my phone off. (it seems to be hanging the touch screen or something - my touches on the screen do not respond, I can't slide the close icon, or sign in - nothing.
My phone (iPhone 7 plus) is unusable right now!!

I found this right after posting this issue: "On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo."
I did this and it did restart my phone. whew!
Try force restarting:
Hold both the volume down and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
