dtrace: error on enabled probe ID 5

My CPU has been hijacked with a never ending stream of this command:

dtrace: error on enabled probe ID 5 (ID 163: syscall::open:return): invalid user access in action #11 at DIF offset 24

Also constant HD chatter and beachball. I have reviewed previous posts for this issue but found nothing that explains it or offers a fix.
