Since I updated to iOS 11.1.1. My iPad can’t find my printer

I updated my iPad to the newest iOS 11.1.1 and tried to print. It now can’t find my printer! I checked my printer, an HP laser which was working fine, and ran a check on it. It says it is connected to a STRONG WiFi signal and it is MY WiFi. Now what do I do? i just bought that printer a couple of months ago. I LOVE IT and want to use it! Help me, please!

Hello Opinion02122,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to print from your iPad to your printer. To help resolve this issue, please test your issue from the Notes app and these steps from this resource on your situation:

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled for printing from your Mac or iOS device, just make sure that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network used by the Mac or iOS device.1

If you still can't print, try any of these solutions:

Restart your Wi-Fi router. Then restart your printer.

Move your printer closer to your Wi-Fi router.

Update your printer and Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware from the manufacturer.2

Update the software for your Mac or iOS device.

If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device
