New iPhone SE has SIM card error every morning

I bought a new iPhone SE a few weeks ago. Within a few days of perfect operations, I started receiving an error that "No SIM card is installed" each and every morning. I plug in my phone to charge at night, and without fail, I wake up to the same error.

When I restart the phone, the error goes away and I am able to use my phone normally (so the SIM card is recognized). But I lose out on any phone calls or messages I received in the early morning when my phone thought it had no SIM card (I've verified that group texts to which I am a party are not received and not re-downloaded after a restart).

What's the fix here? Do I need to talk to Verizon about a new SIM card, or is this an iOS problem?
