Hi. Apple only signs (verifies) the current iOS version for a device. It sounds like you are trying to install iOS 10.3.3 on your iPhone 6 Plus. This was superseded by iOS 11 in September, and we're now on iOS 11.1.1. You need to delete the old download from your device and try to update again. Note that the download will be almost 2 GB, and you'll need about 6 GB free storage on the iPhone (not iCloud) to complete the install. So you may want to do this update using the iTunes program on a computer.

Hi, sam_julia1,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand that you are receiving an error that you aren't connected to the internet when trying to update your iPhone. I'm happy to help.

First, try the steps here: Get help with over-the-air iOS updates - Apple Support . If you are still having trouble with the update, I would recommend updating with iTunes instead: Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support .

Cheers!
