iphone constantly freezing

i have the iphone 6s plus it is currently running on IOS 11.1.1 but my phone keeps freezing and i keep having to restart it for it to work again but then it just freezes again. ive never had a problem with it before. when i open apps it will close me out of them. i’ve tried restarting my phone but nothing is working. please help. 😩

Try a restore via iTunes.

If that does not work, do and Update.

After that, if you still have concerns, contact Apple Support.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

How much storage do you have available cause from what I've seen and sometimes helps is to have a minimum of 2GB of space of storage open for the phone to breathe..
