Siri/Music automatically starts as soon as I plug in the earphones

Siri/Music automatically starts as soon as I plug in the earphones. This is really annoying. ( Fyi.. I am not using apples earphones, but the Phillip's earphone). It never used to happen before, but now its frequent. Even if I am talking to someone with earphones on, the call gets disconnected, siri gets on automatically then suddenly music starts playing- in fact all weird things happens at the same time. Please help me out here, and give me a concrete solution for it and the reason why it was happening. Thanks !
