Thumbnails on my AppleTV instead of list view

I have the same issue as katvalk and I am using the Computers app viewing videos from iTunes on my Mac exactly as you describe. List View is no longer there since TVoS 11. I have the latest TvOS and List View seems to have been removed. Apple support has been absolutely no help at all after talking with them for a couple months. Everyone seems clueless.

I have categorized dozens and dozens of educational videos as Home Videos. I set each video to a specific Genre in order to find them on the Apple TV. It used to work great in a List View. Now it is horrible and useless for the most part.

I'd give anything to go back to TVoS 10.

Right. So you're using the Computers app on Apple TV 4, connecting to iTunes, probably 12.7, on the computer.

Do you have the latest tvOS, version 11.1?

tvOS is the operating system on Apple TV. Check for updates using Settings > System > Software Update on Apple TV.
