apple id

What if you entered a email address on the icloud which is not a registered apple id and now the phone keeps on asking for a password but i have never registered the email address so i dont know the password. Please help!

And i try to create a account for that email address but it says email address already used. When i choose forgotten password it says that email address is not a apple id.
