iPhone XE

Hello,

A year ago I purchased an iPhone XE to a young lady, but her parents confirm me that she is not ready yet for an iPhone.

A year has gone and the young lady is ready for it.

I want to unpack the iPhone with her.

My questions:

Which iOS this iPhone has and if it not yet updated is it able to have the iOS 13.

Does this iPhone is charged or it should be immediately charged.

A link which explain me which are the first steps to go with her to make her new iPhone operational. She has already her sim cart with an old cellular.

Thanks in advance

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13)

First of all, the iPhone XE does not exist. There is no such phone. There is either the iPhone SE or the iPhone X - so which one is it?

Also iOS 13 does not exist either.
