ios 11 Wifi keeps turning back on

I have signed up to Apple.com after years of using your stuff, just to inform you of how incredibly frustration and annoying it is that you are forcing Wifi on me.

The constant popping up of the 'Do you want to Connect to this network' box when i'm doing something, for the Wifi i constantly have to switch off is unbearable.

Apparently now, I will have to manually switch this off in settings... EVERY...SINGLE...DAY.
