CD inserted to download onto iTunes but songs not on iTunes once downloaded

Hi

I inserted a CD into computer to download music onto my ITunes. A message came up on iTunes advising there were some songs (from the CD) already on iTunes and did I want to replace and I clicked yes.

It was a double CD and I downloaded both in turn and yet, when I go into Recently added or Artists, neither of the CD's are showing.

I have tried looking at individual tracks on my songs and nothing is there. Should I be doing something else to see these songs etc?
