Deleting pictures from iphone

Hi! My Iphone6S memory is full. I've been trying to delete pictures and videos but they keep appearing the second I erase them. I've tried turning off the iCloud photo Library and turning off Upload to My Photo Stream. Would likw to delete them from iphone without erase them from iCloud and other devices

iCloud Photo Library is a syncing service. Any photo you delete from a device where iCloud Photo Library is turned on will also be deleted from iCloud and from any other device connected to that iCloud Photo Library. You can potentially reduce the storage space required on a device by turning on Optimize Storage. See: iCloud Photo Library - Apple Support

Apple does not currently offer cloud-only storage for photos. If that is what you want or need, you may want to explore 3rd party options such as Google Photos or Dropbox.

If you have a computer that is not connected to iCloud Photo Library, another option would be to import the photos to a computer. See the import sections of Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

The following has information on turning off iCloud Photo Library. But be aware that if you turn it off and delete photos from the phone, you won't be able to turn it on again on the phone without the photos syncing right back to it. Get help with your iCloud Photo Library - Apple Support

My first choice (depending on the size of your library) would be to leave iCloud Photo Library on and turn on the Optimize Storage option if you don't already have that on. It will take some time and won't free up all of the space the photos are taking. It will try to keep as many full size photos as possible on the phone while allowing some free space as it is needed for other things.

If that isn't enough, your options would include turning iCloud photo Library off on the phone and then manually transferring future photos to your other devices or move completely away from iCloud Photo Library and use Google Photos. The following may help with that: True Photos and Videos Backup using Google Photos - Free and Unlimited

There are other options depending on what you want (what devices you have, how you want to transfer photos, etc).

Thank you Fox fith! The thing is that I just want to free photo and video space on my phone only. I have plenty enough iCloud memory, it's just that my phone memory is out. Don't wanna erase the pics from all of my devices, just my cellphone. Do you know if by turning off iCloud Photo Library on my phone may I be able to do so?
