After heavy usage it starts to lag

Hello, I have a Mac mini (late 2012) in witch I've recently changed the hard drive to SSD, before changing the hard drive, if I used it heavily ( like to renderize videos) it didn't lag, but now when I do the same thing it does.

Problem: Computer is too slow

Description:

After heavy usage my Mac starts to “lag”. For example 15 minutes of video editing and it starts to “lag”.

I tried the old ram and it didn't work, then I found out that Mac has installed a hardware test system (while you boot hold option + d) so I tried it and it said that there was a problem with the fan so I took it out to clean it up. When I was taking it out extra-carefully because there should of been a cable connected I saw that the fan cable wasn't connected so I cleaned the fan and put it back in with the fan connected and that's problem solved.
