Why my iPhone is not connecting to my cars Bluetooth?

I bought a new iPhone 8 plus from apple. I can’t connect it to my cars in fact my car and the phone can’t recognise each other’s with Bluetooth. I still can connect my old iPhone to my car so there’s nothing wrong with the car. It’s my new iPhone has a problem.

Can someone help me please?

Congratulations on your new iPhone 8 Plus! I'm sure you're excited to use all of its great features, but I see from your post you're having a hard time getting it connected with your car. I'm happy to help!

Based on what you've described, I would first recommend verifying with your car's manufacturer whether the installed stereo supports iPhone 8 Plus, and the latest iOS version, 11.1.1. If the manufacturer confirms your stereo supports iPhone 8 Plus and iOS 11.1.1, use the following steps from Get help connecting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your car stereo - Apple Support :

If you're using Bluetooth

Check your car stereo's user manual for how to pair with a Bluetooth device.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth, and turn off Bluetooth. Wait for 5 seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on.

Restart your iOS device.

On your iOS device, unpair your car stereo. On your car's display, unpair your iOS device and any other devices. Restart your car and your iOS device, then pair and connect again.

Update your iOS device.

Install any firmware updates for your car stereo.

If you still can't connect, contact Apple Support.

To make sure there's no interference with other connected devices, I would also suggest your iPhone 8 Plus be the only phone in the car when you pair it (or that any other phones have forgotten the pairing, have Bluetooth turned off, or are powered off themselves).
