All my USB keyboards (including Apple ones) drop 1-6 characters that I know I have typed on my 2010 MacPro. It has done this for many versions of OS X and now MacOS. I have tried many different USB ports.
Suggestions would be welcomed.
Mac Pro (Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion, 12 cpu, 32 GB memory, 10 TB disk
