As the managing member of the family plan, I see that my current individual plan will convert to the family plan. But, the literature I've seen doesn't address what happens to the other members plans in the family. I assume they also get converted and we all have one upgraded storage plan, but I would like verification of that assumption.
Once you subscribe to the 200 GB or 2T storage plan, the Family Storage Plan becomes available as an option to the other Family Sharing members. They are not automatically converted to that plan, but must select it, if they want it.

Once you invite the Family members to share storage and they accept, they can then downgrade to the free 5GB storage plan if they have purchased more storage for their account. Their storage doesn't get combine with your storage.
Does changing to a family storage plan convert every family members plan to this new plan?
