Notifications not disappearing on High Sierra

Notifications not disappearing on High Sierra, I need to click on the button "Close" or they will just keep stacking forever and ever... Another option is to click on the program itself, but on Telegram p.e. I need to click on the person specific chat, or they won't disappear. They were supposed to close after a few seconds no matter what, at least it was like that as far as I can remember.

Are you guys experiencing the same issue?

Go to System Preferences->Notifications and, for each application, choose the type of notification you want:

Banners will go away on their own, Alerts require you to click.

For example, in the picture below, you would just have to click on Banners and the Calendar notifications would disappear on their own:

Got it!

So my issue now is another one. When I set the notifications for the email app called Newton for Banners, when I click on the banner itself, nothing happens, it doesn't open up the e-mail. I'm pretty sure that it used to open up the program/message/email, at least when I was using the Sierra, I remember that my notifications automatically disappeared, and when it was an important email I would click directly on the notification to open it.
