is it possible the Tom delete an imessage across all my devices at one time?

No, there isn't. Messages sync across devices for receiving, not for deleting. Messages have to be deleted individually.

Thanks Chris. I gather you are right, but somewhere I heard that Apple was working on making that happen. At a minimum, it should be an option in settings.
