We recently add our Mac user to AD. When they update their password on their Mac it does not update the server.

We recently added most of our Mac users to AD. Everything works until they want to change their password. The users change their passwords on their Mac and everything looks good. They then either log out or lock their screen. To unlock their Mac they have to use their previous AD password as the new one is not excepted but once they log in the new password is required to make local changes. The password change is not updating the server.

As a test we have had users try and update their password on another Mac where they do not yet have a mobile account and the password update works. So it seems to be related to users having mobile accounts but not positive on that as my test account which is mobile the password change works with no problem. Also, this does not affect all users. Some users with mobile accounts can update their password successfully.

Any idea?
