After upgrading to High Sierra my screen saver works for a short time. Anyone else have an issue with screen saver?

I upgraded to High Sierra and now my screen saver only works for a short time before the screen turns black. I am using my photos in iPhoto. Anyone else have this issue.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)

I fixed this issue by going into energy saver and selecting a different time.
