Question:

Question: App called APN (Unlock It) appears on screen: What?

Hi

Very strange. Maybe I've forgotten, but I don't recall the app APN being on my screen before. Since I've only downloaded from the App Store and my computer, I have no idea where it came from.

Any ideas?

I don't think anyone can access your phone.

You should delete the app if you don't need it.

The alerts when you log in with your Apple ID are probably caused by Apple misinterpreting your location based on your apparent IP address. This will happen if you use a VPN, but may just be due to how your provider connects to the internet.

Never.

But thanks for the reply.

Is it possible someone can use it to get access to my phone?

Because now, whenever I open Music or TV, I keep getting a msg that my apple id is being used to sign into a device. I actually don't think that's the reason but felt I should tell you what's happening.

Yes, the first thing I did was delete it.

I have no idea how it got there, very strange, but thanks again for your post.

As to the alerts, I don't use a VPN, don't know about my provider, Spectrum.

Seems like it did it once before for a while, and the only connection I can think of is that I had iTunes open and updating the X.

Just checked, not asking any more.

I think both times iTunes on my MBP told me of the update, I cllicked for it to download and install but nothing really seemed to happen, so I went to the X and did the update that way.

Thanks again.
