Mail emails appear black after installing macOS High Sierra

Some of my emails appear completely black (like a black overlay all over the email window) after I upgraded my MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011) OS to High Sierra. The only way I'm able to see the content is open the email in another window by replying or forwarding the email. Anyone else with the same problem?

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
