Recovery Mode without Cmd+R?

Hi,

I'm on a MacMini/Sierra. I need to boot into Recovery Mode. I know I should press and hold Cmd+R to get there. But unfortunately macOS doesn't recognize my old bluetooth keyboard during boot process (the system 'sees' the keyboard only after boot, when the Desktop is visible). So in my case pressing and holding Cmd+R does not work.

My question: is there any other way to boot into Recovery Mode on macOS except pressing Cmd+R on the keyboard?

Thank you,

Alexander

A wired keyboard. Then you have the option of cmd+R, or just holding down the option key at boot (and choosing the appropriate recovery icon).
