Missing Storage in HD on Macbook Pro

Hello!!

I'm running El Capitan on a late 2013 Macbook pro that has 258gbs of storage. However, I'm running v low on storage and have been trying to delete stuff / find out stuff taking up large amounts of space (e.g. clearing library cache etc.) but haven't been able to find out whats taking up all the space 😟

202gb of space is categorised under 'others'.

At the same time, using Grandperspective, 119gb of space is categorised under 'miscellaneous used space'.

Really hope someone can help me out here!! Have been going through different threads and trying stuff but things dont seen to really be working!! Thanksssss 🙂
