With iOS 11.1.1 (15B150) update, when I type the word “world“ , I get the word “W:o:r:l:d” affects both iPad and iPhone ... anyone else?

i selected iPhone and messages (just to post this) but it really affects either the iPad or iPhone in ANY app at all that uses the keyboard... making a note in Kindle app, typing in Microsoft‘s Word, excell, PowerPoint apps, iMessages. Etc ... doesn’t matter what the app is, just typing.

there are no Text Replacement rules in General->Keyboard->TextReplace to cause this. (In fact. I even tried to make a rule after the errror to fix it by saying whenever I type “world“ replace it with “world“ ... but that doesn’t fix it either.

Anyone else seeing this error?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11

I have one posssible solution and one possible workaround. Try going to Settings | General | Reset and select Reset Keyboard Dictionary. If that doesn’t work see if doing a text replacement for something like wrld would be be replaced with world correctly.
