How to fix an incorrect autocorrect

Somehow, I must have typed "LO:L" instead of LOL, and now my phone thinks anytime i type "lol" that it should autocorrect to "LO:L". I've tried setting a shortcut even for "lol" to be "lol", and i've tried to reset my keyboard via the settings. But this is no help. It's almost like the i to a? virus that's been going around. I sent the LO:L on accident to my sister and now her phone does it too. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I've updated my phone as well to the latest version.
