Question: Old Keychain folder, password retrieval

Due to an iCloud sync issue, I was told by Apple phone support to move my Keychains folder to my desktop and a new one would be rebuilt upon restarting. This step solved my issue as something was corrupted within the folder but left me with another problem. I'm trying to retrieve a password on my 'old' Keychains folder and wondered if there was a way to search the files / folder, maybe even pull it back to my 'new' rebuilt Keychains folder to view it. Thanks in advance for any help.
