Watch screen replacements

Hello,

I was just sitting at my desk at work and happened to look down at my watch and realize the screen is shattered at the bottom. This morning when I put my watch on it was no cracked at all. I’ve been sitting at my desk all day, haven’t bumped it, or hit it on anything. I honestly don’t know when or how this happened. I purchased the watch in July. Do you cover screen replacemts? I added a photo so you can see the very bottom of the screen is where the cracks start and a few go up through the entire screen.

Thank you

Monique

Hi

Apple Watch is not user-serviceable and Apple does not offer a screen repair or screen replacement service for Apple Watch.

If the issue is not covered under warranty (due to being defective) or other Apple policy, then your Apple Watch may instead be eligible for replacement via chargeable, out-of-warranty service - or via AppleCare+, if previously purchased.

Contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to arrange for your Apple Watch to be inspected and to establish your available service options:

I'm afraid that no-one here can ell you what Apple will decide in your specific case. You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community.

In the meantime, note that Apple advises that you should not continue using a damaged Apple Watch.
