iTunes support - logging into recent purchases

I keep trying to login to the apple iTunes Store to look at my account. it asks for my password and I give it. then I click on account and then into recent purchases and then it asks me again for my password and then will not take the password... I have created new passwords and it still won't take it.

null-OTHER, iOS 10.3.3, Icloud
