How to sync photos from iPhone 6 to iMac - photos does not show up in my menu on iTunes

How do I get the photos on my iPhone 6 to synch to the Mac? When I click on device for the iPhone I do not see photos in the menu on the left side of iTunes screen.

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 10.3.2

Hey bmattick,

I can see from your post that you want to have the same photos on your iPhone 6 to be available on your Mac as well but don't see the option to sync them in iTunes. Keeping your photos in sync with your computer is a great way to store your photos. You can use the following article to help with the import:

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Another way to do this is by using iCloud Photo Library. To do so, you'll just need to be sure to be signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices. Check out the link below for more details on this.
Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all of your devices
