Iphone 8plus sound distorted or silent during phone call

Both of the phones we have (8plus) have distorted voice function on calls--through headsets, through handset, on speaker--everything! Clearly this is an issue, and now it is messing with our business because we cannot call from either phone!

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11.1
