This is the boot ROM I have and need the xxxx.xxxx.B08 but it will not allow me to upgrade.
I have a 2009 dual processor with a 2009 tray upgraded to two 3.46 ghz Xeon 6 core ECC 5690.
My system will not recognize the 1333 ghz memory I have installed, it runs at 1066 ghz.

It's not too old for the 2009 or 2010 models. OP's is 2009. There hasn't been a later list. Apple no longer has the user update firmware. It's now done when macOS is upgraded/updated.
are all of the processors heaxacore (six-core) processors? The older 4-core processors never supported 1333.
All my Mac Pros are 2009 but upgraded to 5,1
All of them got 6 core 2.93GHz Xeons 5670 which supports 1333MHz - that would be too simple solution if I would have ie. W3670 🙂
