error occurs when updating

I have a macbook pro, when updating to high sierra, it downloads well, then says an error has occurred. This also is happening to my other updates. The system is running sierra 10.12.6. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), iOS 10.1.1
