Which diplays are compatable with newest mac mini model?

I’m interested in owning the new Mac mini but unsure which displays (or what compatibility factor I need to look for) are compatible. This would be my first Mac computer. Tips/advice? Does anyone out there use a Mac mini anymore?

macs don't really use special monitors, it's the same as other windows and Linux pc's

https://www.apple.com/mac-mini/specs/

thunderbolt carries displayport signals and it also has a hdmi so without using a converter you can connect monitors with hdmi and or displayport

if you wish to connect a VGA monitor DVI you will have to use a converter from displayport to said types

Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter - Apple & Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - Apple

VGA being the worst way to connect displays though
