What does "Continuous" mean in podcasts on iTunes

I am now getting the word "Continuous" in the time column on several of my podcasts. Where this appears, the podcast has stopped downloading episodes. This has been happening since August and would appreciate any information as to how to correct this. Running iTunes 12.7.1.14
