Random shutdown / restart during sleep

Since updating my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) to High Sierra 10.13.1 (17B48), it now randomly shuts down and restarts when asleep. Mac goes to sleep fine, everything is normal, but when I go back to wake it, a message is displayed saying it shutdown and was restarted. I have reset NVRAM and SMC, turned off all network settings that might wake in sleep, disconnected my external Thunderbolt Display before sleep, etc. Nothing seems to work. I also see many others having the same issue. Any ideas?

(Cause 3 is hard shut down)
